During our stay in Shanghai we will spend one weekend to pay a two-day visit to Hangzhou. Located 180 miles to the south of Shanghai, Hangzhou is generally regarded as one of the most beautiful destinations in China. The spacious West Lake surrounded by misty mountains creates scenes of unearthly beauty, often compared to a charming lady in Chinese poetry. Other historic relics that we will visit in Hangzhou include Linyin Temple (a famous Buddhist institution), Six Harmony Pagoda and Tiger Running Spring.

Dance Performance
During our stay in Hangzhou, we will spend the first evening enjoying a dance performance rendered by the Hangzhou Dance Troop, one of the best in Zhejiang province. Incorporating modern techniques into presenting traditional Chinese skits, their performance will not only enrich our understanding of Chinese culture, but also open our eyes to a new type of art.
