Directions for opening the Legal Apprentice™ case file:

In order to open the Legal Apprentice™ file after you download it, you will need to have the Legal Apprentice™ software installed on your computer. The software can be downloaded by following this link. When the software is installed, it creates a set of sub-directories under “(My) Documents / Legal Apprentice”; save the downloaded case model to the Legal Apprentice / Saved Cases sub-directory. Please make sure that your browser does not change the file extension from *.alf to some other extension, such as *.zip; if it does, you need to change the file extension back to *.alf before Legal Apprentice™ can open it. Run the Legal Apprentice™ software and click on “File / Open Saved Case” to open the Birdsell model.
