Maintaining a collection of texts that are as error-free as possible is a priority for us. All typos or errors we learn about will be eliminated in subsequent printings, and also listed here along with corrections,. We hope that this listing will be helpful to instructors and students using the text until the appearence of subsequent printings. Please notify us by e-mail of any errors or typos you encounter that are not already identified on the list.
We shall list corrections by printing. To determine which printing you have, consult page (iv) of the text (the page facing the table of contents). Approximately two-thirds way down the page, you will see "Printed in Canada" followed by a sequence of numbers. The last number in the sequence is the printing number. For instance:
Printed in Canada
10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2
denotes the second printing.
