On many of these, in addition to information about the programs themselves (including updates and patches), you will find data sets, macros and subroutines, reports and tutorials, and other relevant resources. It is a good idea to check for updates and patches on a regular basis since many software publishers routinely post corrections and/or additions on their web sites.
