Metamorphosis

Task It is your groups job to research the monarch butterfly
and the metamorphosis that it goes through. Use the links below to help you
with this task. In addition you will be responsible for designing and
constructing a project that will explain this metamorphosis. The project needs
to provide information on each stage as well as contain a public awareness
portion discussing the current problem facing the monarch. This will hopefully
lead to more people being aware of what this species of butterfly looks like,
so that we can more easily identify them.

on the various stages of metamorphosis. In your group decide how you would like
to display your information. You have the option of choosing one of the
following or creating your own method:

Design Project
Whichever method your group chooses, make sure
to accomplish the following tasks:
1. Discuss the problem facing Monarch
Butterflies
2. Illustrate and Label the stages of the
metamorphosis (Make sure to make note of any identifying characteristics)
3. The final project needs to be large enough
to be able to see from any place in the classroom.
4. Be able to discuss and present to the class in an organized manner.

minimal creativity, minimal careful thought, and minimal clarity of explanation
1 Needs Work completed 1-2 criteria and other
aspects of the presentation/project needed further work
0 Incomplete Work not submitted
*If you are not satisfied with your grade you can
resubmit your project within one week.
