Inhabitants in Selected Cities, 2008Trucks and vans are the most visible (and best monitored) modes
of transport. Some interesting indicators have emerged such as the
number of freight vehicles by 1000 urban residents. Although
registration methods may differ from one country to another, it
seems that this ratio decreases as city size increases. This
supports the idea that very large cities are more efficient in terms
of urban freight delivery.
