GIS Generated Shimbel Index Grid

On this grid, generated by ArcView GIS, each cell is the summation of the distance grids for the 5 centers (A, B, C, D and E). Since distances are Euclidean, this requirement of the shortest path has been automatically satisfied. Center A is the most accessible, but the point roughly in the center of the grid represents the least summation of distances to all the centers (75.13 km), thus the most accessible. The point in the upper right section is the least accessible since it has the maximal summation of distances (189.48 km).
