GIS Generated Potential Accessibility Grid
On this grid, generated by ArcView GIS, each cell is the summation of the distance grids for the 5 centers (A, B, C, D and E), each weighted by an index representing its importance, where centers B and E are more important than centers C and D. Thus this summation of adjusted distances grid is the result of this function: A/1.0 + B/0.7 + C/1.5 + D/1.6 + E/0.8, which puts more emphasis on centers B and C. Center A is still the most accessible, but the point representing the least summation of adjusted distances (76.07 km) has shifted northward. The point in the upper right section is still the least accessible since it has the maximal summation of adjusted distances (191.59 km).
