Short report on "The 59 story crisis"

Here is how the HW graded will be computed: Total score to be scaled to 100,as follows. First, convert you score to a percentage. If you handed in all of the HW, add 15 %; if you handed in all but one set, add 10 %; if you handed in all but two sets, add 5 %; otherwise there are no additional points.

Finally, here is how the overall grade will be computed (90 =A, 80=B, 70=C, 60=D).

2 quizzes @ 50 pts each

2 tests @ 100 pts each

Homework counts as a third test (100 pts)

Late homework will receive less or no credit

One test or quiz (not homework) may be replaced by the "universal makeup"

Final exam 200 pts

Attendance is expected. Points may be deducted for absences beyond 3.
