If you are a student at Hofstra and wish to submit a paper (minimum 6 pages) from a Hofstra anthropology course for HPIA, please contact your professor to
recommend your paper
for submission. Your professor is responsible for
forwarding an acceptable submission to the department committee.

Submissions will be reviewed by an editorial board within
the department, chaired by
Prof. Matthews and Prof. Varisco

There are two annual deadlines for submissions. Papers submitted to a fall term course should be submitted to the committee before the end of the first week of the spring term. Papers from the spring term should be submitted to the committee at the end of the first week of the fall term.

The next deadline is February 2, 2007.
