Based on statements of desire to do a paper and need to meet the writing requirement which were lodged with me or my secretary, the following persons are entitled to elect to do a paper in this seminar this year:

Alternates:

2.   Adele Lalo, 2L

The registrar selected the ninth and tenth slot and the two alternates in a lottery.  The alternates will take the place of any of the ten students who were selected for the paper should drop the paper option during the Spring '99 add/drop period.
