Research Interests
| Currently we are investigating the luminescence properites of substituted chalcones. Emission from these compounds reveals information about the excited state structure and dynamics. If both electron donnor and acceptor groups are incorporated into these compounds the formation of charge-transfer states after optical absorbiton are possible |
