Using the Verbal Form of the Chain Rule
The verbal form of the chain rule above states:
4) cubed is 3 times (3x2
4) squared, times the derivative of (3x2
4).
That is,
4) cubed is 3 times (3x2
4) squared, times 6x..
If you now write this in symbols, you get the same answer as above.
