Research Interests

  • Using the principles of polymer chemistry and materials science our research focuses on the synthesis and physical characterization of  Polyvinyl alkyl esters (PVAe). Specific Research entails the synthesis and characterization of the bulk and dilute solution properties of polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) and Polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH). The overall goal is the understanding of the structure-property relationships of the polymers and to develop practical industrial applications. Our research experimental laboratory work using various analytical instrumentation to characterize the polymeric properties
