Developed by Oskar Pineño (2002)

Important note: The last screen requires a password to close the program. The password is "99". In some experimental tasks, a password is required in order to close the screen that is presented during the retention interval. This password is "88".

Notes:

This program is an adaptation of the task developed by Oskar Pineño and Helena Matute (1998).

A description of the original task can be found in: Pineño, O., Ortega, N., & Matute (2000). The relative activation of associations modulates interference between elemenally trained cues. Learning and Motivation, 31, 128-152.

A demo of the original task can be downloaded from Helena Matute's website.

If you are interested on using this experimental task, you can ask for the source codes. The original Spy-Radio task was programmed in Borland C++ 3.1 and the new version was programmed in Borland Visual C++ (using Borland C++ Builder 3). For this purpose, you can contact me by e-mail.
