There is great job satisfaction in making the world a better place. Training as an environmental engineer allows you to work in any area of environmental protection (including, but not limited to air pollution control, hazardous waste management, solid waste disposal, public health, wastewater management, water supply, stormwater management, and land management) This is a multi-disciplinary field. Requiring engineers to develop methods to solve problems related to the environment using the principles of biology, chemistry and humanities.
