I am a faculty member in the Department of Science Education at the Hofstra University School of Medicine in partnership with North Shore-LIJ Health System. We are currently pursuing preliminary accreditation with the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, and anticipate matriculating our inaugural class in the Fall of 2011.

In addition to my work in medical education and medical school development, I maintain an active research program in a variety of topics investigating the form-function relationships and biomechanics of vertebrates and am actively pursuing the development of a research program in medical education.
