The Good Life

My wife, Cara, and I met in graduate school at St. John’s University. On our first date we got lost in flow during a 6-hour conversation. We both knew the search was over—we found our soul mate. Of all the blessings I’ve received in my life, our relationship together takes the cake! Evening walks recapping our day, Sunday morning pancakes, and embracing each other while retiring for the night are a few of the many reasons that I feel so fortunate to be married to Cara. I love knowing we’ll grow old together—with our rocking chairs pointing west.

Here's our son, James Harrison, at 16-months old. As you can see, he loves his Mickey Mouse ears. He's known to put them on and run around his room laughing so hard that he gets the hiccups.

We let Marshall sleep in on Sunday mornings while I make breakfast. James now loves sleeping in with him too. Best friends forever!

Here's my buddy Matt and I with our sons, Sammy and James. I consider Matt my brother. He "gets me" better than anyone. I can always count on us getting lost in flow during meaningful conversations. It's a blessing knowing that our sons will be best buds like their dads.

I’m fortunate to have the same group of friends, with some additions along the way, for over the past 15 years. We have experienced everything together, from high school graduation to the birth of our children. I love them dearly.
