Andrew Delamater, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Psychology Department at Brooklyn College - CUNY. Dr. Delamater received a B.S. in Psychology from American University in 1982. He earned his M.Sc. in Experimental Psychology in 1984 and his Ph.D. in Associative Learning in 1989, both from Dalhousie University. Following post-doctoral work at Indiana University and the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Delamater joined the Psychology Department at Brooklyn College-CUNY. Since 2005, Dr. Delamater has served as Associate Editor for the Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology. His research interests are in the domains of animal and human associative learning, especially Pavlovian and instrumental conditioning. His specific interests include the role of associative factors in perceptual learning, configural learning, and classification learning. His work has appeared in Journal of Experimental Psychology, Learning & Behavior, and Pharmacology, Biochemistry, & Behavior.
