Victoria Brescoll, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity at Yale University. She completed her B.A. in psychology from the University of Michigan. She also received her M.S., M.Phil., and PhD. in social psychology from Yale University where she was supported by a graduate research fellowship from the National Science Foundation. Dr. Brescoll is interested in the applications of social psychology to public policy and law. She worked in the office of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton under a Congressional Fellowship from the Women’s Research and Education Institute, covering a variety of issues related to children and families. While in graduate school, she served as an Editor on the Yale Journal of Law and Feminism. Her work focuses on gender stereotypes, status attainment in organizations, and persuasion and public policy.
