Sukkot (Succos, Succoth, Feast of Tabernacles, Feast of Booths) -- the fall harvest and pilgrimage festival, commemorating forty years
in the desert -- is from the evening of Wednedsay., Sept 26, 2007 to sundown on Thurs, October 4, 2007
Simhat Torah -- the Rejoicing of the Torah, commemorating the giving of the Torah (law) at Mt. Sinai -- follows Succoth on the evening
of October 5, 2007 and continues until sundown the next day.

texts (new prayers and commentary on traditional ones), contemporary voices on the current conflicts, and study texts on the creation of humans in the image of God, the place of suffering
and tears, and the commandment of tochekha (moral criticism).
