Dr. Comila Shahani-Denning,
is an Associate Professor of Psychology and serve as Co-Director of the M.A. Program in Industrial & Organizational Psychology. She earned her doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Rice University in 1988. Her current research and consulting interests include the selection of expatriate managers, measurement and understanding of customer service, evaluation of training programs, understanding the nature of time management.
Dr. Shahani-Denning has worked on a number of consulting projects with organizations such as the Case Corporation, AT&T, Mineola Youth and Family Services, Pass Seymour, Thomas Cook, Long Island Board of Realtors, and Rx Maxwell. Some projects include the assessment and evaluation of sales professionals, the implementation of self-managed teams, the facilitation of leadership development programs, training evaluation, and needs analysis.
