Broadcast News Writing and Stylebook, third edition.  Allyn and Bacon, Boston, 2006. (sole author).  The first edition was published in 1995 and the second edition in 2002.  Allyn and Bacon reports that this is the most widely-used book of its kind in the U.S.  The fourth edition is scheduled for release in 2010.

Electronic News, the official publication of the Radio Television Journalism Division (RTVJ) of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), Taylor & Francis, Philadelphia.  Founder and co-editor with Charlie Tuggle, UNC.  First published at Ball State University in 2001, Lawrence Erlbaum Associates took over publication in 2006 when it became the official journal for RTVJ.  Taylor & Francis recently bought Erlbaum.  Vol. 1, No. 1 came out in February 2007, and Vol. 1, No. 2 came out in May 2007.
